Blind-from-birth men prefer female figures with the same waist-to-hip ratio as sighted men do!

A psychologist at Radboud University in the Netherlands, along with his student and collaborator, Sander Arons, clothed 2 plastic women identically in tight black tops and dark skirts and then drove them to the homes of blind men.
The researcher set one so that they have a waist-to-hip ratio of 0.7 and the other so that they have a vase to hip ratio of 0.84. The lower ratio represents an ideal; a slim but curvy physique. The higher ratio represents the shape of an average woman.
The blind men were told to touch the women and focus their hands on their waist and hips. The breasts on both figures were the same in case the men reached too high. They were then told to score the attractiveness of the bodies. Like a majority of sighted men, they preferred the mannequins with the 0.7 ratio.
