Americans traveling to North Korea who become in danger can call the Swedish Embassy!

First of all, it is really difficult for an American to get into North Korea. The U.S. And North Korea aren't the best of friends, so there isn't a U.S. Embassy in North Korea. For this reason, the U.S. Has had to set up a plan for Americans who do travel to North Korea if something should go awry.
The Embassy of Sweden in Pyongyang acts as the United States' interim protecting power and provides basic consular services to U.S. Citizens traveling in North Korea. The government of the U.S. Warns it's citizens how easily it is for them to be imprisoned in North Korea if they aren't very careful to respect and maintain North Korean laws and have all the proper and necessary paperwork to get into and out of the country.
Since the country has extremely limited internet access and almost no international telephone calls are allowed, getting help is pretty bleak once in North Korea.
