South Korea has created a robot swarm to kill jellyfish!

It may sound like something out of science fiction, but it's true. Engineers in South Korea have developed the Jellyfish Elimination Robotic Swarm, a mechanical troupe whose only purpose is to kill jellyfish.
Why would they want them dead? Well, it's estimated that the South Korean marine industry loses $300 million a year to jellyfish, not to mention attacks on humans and even nuclear plant closures.
The robots have a GPS and camera system to detect swarms of jellyfish. 3 robots scoop up jellyfish trapped in a net and then a propeller shreds them! Learn more at the source.
