The oldest woman to ever live smoked for 96 years!

Jeanne Calment was born in 1875, and passed away on August 4, 1997, making her the oldest person to ever live at the ripe old age of 122.
She lived to see almost every major American War (even though she was French), watched as her friends and family passed away as she continued to live, and we can only imagine what it was like for her to try and use a computer.
When asked how she lived so long, Jeanne Calment had a few different products to thank. She said she looks so wonderful because she would rub olive oil on her skin every day, and she said that her ripe age comes from drinking wine and eating at least 2 pounds of chocolate a week!
Furthermore, Jeanne Calment smoked from when she was 21, until she was 117! An unconfirmed source says that she would never have more than two cigarettes a day.
Jeanne ended up in a retirement home because of a cooking incident that resulted in her almost burning her house down.
However, workers at the retirement home claim that Jeanne was mentally stable until the day that she died. Her brain never faded as a result of her age!
