The shooter in an infamous Vietnam execution photo opened a pizzeria in Virginia after the war!

General Nguyen Ngoc Loan of the South Vietnam Army was made internationally famous when Eddie Adams took a picture of the General executing a Viet Cong prisoner. The picture was broadcast all around the world as an anti-war symbol.
General Loan's reputation was tarnished, as many people viewed him as an evil person who brutishly killed an innocent man.
However, Eddie Adams says that General Loan was killing a man who was responsible for torturing American soldiers. Adams denied a Pulitzer Prize, as he felt incredibly for destroying General Loan's image. For the rest of his life, Adams defended General Loan time and time again.
As for Nguyen Ngoc Loan, he Vietnam around the time Saigon fell in 1975 and he moved to America. He opened up a small pizza restaurant in Burke, Virginia.
It wasn't long before someone recognized him, and he had to shut down the restaurant after receiving many threats. The last time Eddie Adams visited the restaurant, he saw the words "We know who you are f**ker" written on the bathroom walls. If you want to look at the picture, it's here. We gotta warn you it can be disturbing to some.
