When a financial crisis hit, people in Dubai just abandoned their luxury sports cars in the airport as they fled!

If you have a luxury automobile - a Ferrari, say, or a Porsche - you likely take good care of it. Or rap about it. Either way, you probably don't abandon it in a parking lot.

Not so of people in Dubai.The city is known for extravagant wealth, but even it, is not immune to financial crisis.

When the city hit hard times, so did some of it's wealthier residents. Burdened with inescapable debt, these citizens would simply park their luxury cars at the airport, and flee.

The cars would remain in the parking lot, gathering dust. I hope they found a good home for them.
