Danish shippers Maersk produces as much greenhouse gasses as all of Denmark!

Maersk is one of the biggest shipping companies in the world. They have a fleet of over 1,000 ships and revenues of over $300 billion a year.

With a giant fleet comes giant pollution. It's estimated that the company's fleet emits about 40 to 50 million tons of CO2 a year, which is more than the rest of Denmark emits all together!
