Geckskin has been called one of the top five breakthroughs of 2012, but most of you probably haven't heard of it. It's an adhesive material created by Michael Barlett, Alfred Crosby and Duncan Irschick, that can hold up to 700lbs on a smooth surface without losing any of the products effectiveness!
For example, you could use Geckskin to hold up your plasma TV, then you could take that same TV down, and there would be no Geckskin residue left on the wall - and the Geckskin product can be reused countless times without losing it's durability!
The researchers behind Geckskin studied Geckos for 20 years, trying to figure out how the reptile was able to click to branches without leaving a sticky residue behind. When they finally figured it out, they duplicated what the Gecko was doing into a small strip that became Geckskin.
So yes, you can now hang your television on the wall without having to deal with a complicated wall mount. But let's be serious - we're all hoping to get our hands on Geckskin so we can dress up like superheroes and scale the sides of buildings!
