Google Inc. Is an American multinational corporation specializing in Internet-related services and products. These include search, cloud computing, software and online advertising technologies.
On the other hand; CNET is an American tech media website that publishes reviews, news, articles, blogs, and podcasts on technology and consumer electronics globally.
In 2005, Google representatives refused to be interviewed by all CNET reporters for an entire year after CNET published personal information about Google’s CEO Eric Shmidt. Some of the personal information included his salary, neighborhood where he lives, hobbies and political donations.
All the information was obtained throughout Google searches! And Google has very serious thoughts when it comes to privacy, being one of the only internet companies that do everything possible to respect it's users information as much as possible.
