Since January 1st 2013, drivers in Florida can legally warn other drivers of police speed traps!

According to a law that went into effect New Year’s Day, drivers in Florida can flash their lights at other cars to warn them of police speed traps-effectively destroying the point of police speed traps.
Additionally, on the same day, the state made it so swamp buggies can no longer be considered “motor vehicles.”
But Florida was not the only state to bring in the New Year with weird laws. California made it illegal for a dog to chase a bear or bobcat. Utah outlawed happy hours. And in Illinois, the term “pedestrian” now includes in-line skaters.
